If words could heal your brok'n hearts
I'd send them straight to you
But, words are little
comfort for what you've been going through.
And, if I had a balm so rare that would take away your
pain
I'd use such precious ointment
And cause your hearts to smile again.
No, on my own, my broken ones
there is little I can do, except to add
my faith to yours
to know He'll see you through.
He's the ONE to whom I go to when hurt is too hard to bear
the ONE upon whom I depend
to answer every prayer.
He IS the ONE I'm asking now to make His presence known
shelter you
beneath His wings 'til all the heartache's gone.
Humans can't do this for you tho' intentions are so grand
I just can't heal your brok'n hearts
but
I KNOW THE ONE WHO CAN !!!
